Nick Tran


Vice President, Brand and Culture Marketing
Nick Tran is the Vice President of Brand and Culture Marketing. In his role, he leads the team responsible for Hulu’s brand strategy, marketing campaigns and activations, social media and events.

Before joining Hulu, Tran spent two years at Samsung Electronics as the Head of Brand Culture where he oversaw social media, influencer and experiential marketing across Samsung’s passion pillars of entertainment, sports and music. Prior to Samsung Electronics, Tran was VP of Marketing at Stance Socks, where he launched the Cannes Gold Lion award-winning Star Wars campaign, which allowed customers to “shop with the force.”

Prior to his time at Stance, Tran served as the digital marketing and social media lead at Taco Bell Corp driving creative strategy, community management and campaign execution for Doritos Locos Tacos, Cantina Bell and the company’s breakfast menu. During his tenure at Taco Bell, the brand became AdAge’s Marketers of the Year, AdWeek’s Hottest Digital Brand, and Fast Company’s Most Innovative Brands in Advertising and Marketing.

Tran holds an MBA from The Paul Merage School of Business at University of California, Irvine and a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and psychology from the University of California, San Diego.
